Photography Terms & Conditions

 

1. Session Fee

The session fee has to be paid to secure the session date and time. This fee covers the Photographer’s time, accessories, and studio use and does not include digital images, prints, or products. The session fee is non-refundable.

 

2. Images & Ordering

Images and products are purchased separately during the Client’s gallery viewing appointment. Prices and collections will be provided prior to ordering. No images or products are included unless purchased.

 

3. Lateness & Extensions

Clients are expected to arrive on time for their scheduled session.

• Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may result in the session being shortened accordingly, while still being charged at the full session rate.

• Arrivals more than 30 minutes late may require the session to be rescheduled, and a £30 late fee will apply.

• Sessions that run over the booked time at the Client’s request will incur an additional charge of £25 per 30 minutes, payable on the day of the session.

 

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling

Session fees are non-refundable. If rescheduling is required, the Client must provide at least 48 hrs notice. Rescheduling is subject to availability.

 

5. Child Safety & Supervision

Parents or legal guardians are fully responsible for the safety, supervision, and behaviour of their children at all times during the session, including within the studio or on location.

The Photographer is not responsible for supervising children or siblings during the session.

 

6. Liability & Damage

The Photographer shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage to persons or property during the session, except where caused by the Photographer’s proven negligence.

The Client is responsible for any damage caused by themselves or their children to studio property, equipment, or props.

 

7. Copyright & Usage Rights

All photographs remain the copyright of the Photographer in accordance with the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988.

The Client is granted a personal-use licence only, which allows use of purchased images for personal, non-commercial purposes (e.g. printing for home, sharing with friends and family, personal social media).

Images may not be used for commercial purposes, competitions, resale, or editing/alteration without written permission from the Photographer.

 

8. Photographer’s Use of Images

The Photographer may use images from the session for portfolio display, website, social media, marketing, and promotional purposes.

If the Client prefers images not to be used publicly, they must notify the Photographer in writing before or at the time of the session. No additional fee applies for opting out.

 

9. Raw Files Policy

As part of my commitment to delivering a high-quality, polished final product, RAW (unedited) image files are not provided under any circumstances. All delivered images are carefully selected and professionally edited to reflect my artistic style and standards.

The final edited images provided are in high-resolution JPEG format, suitable for both print and digital use. RAW files remain the intellectual property of the photographer and are not considered part of the deliverable package.

 

10. Data Protection & GDPR

The Photographer complies with the UK GDPR. Personal data and images are used only to provide photography services and fulfil orders, are stored securely, and are not shared with third parties except where necessary or legally required. The Client may request access to or deletion of their data and may withdraw consent for marketing use of images at any time in writing.

 

These Terms & Conditions apply to all photography services provided by Rado Photo Studio.
