When is the best time to schedule a maternity session?

The ideal time for a maternity session is between 28 and 34 weeks of pregnancy, when your belly is beautifully round but you're still comfortable enough to pose. However, we can schedule it anytime that works best for you.

What should I wear for my maternity session?

Wear something comfortable that makes you feel beautiful! I offer a curated collection of maternity gowns and dresses you’re welcome to use during your session. Soft fabrics, solid colors, and minimal accessories work best to highlight your bump and create timeless photos.

Do I need to bring anything to the session?

Aside from your outfits, feel free to bring any personal items you'd like to include, such as baby shoes, ultrasound pictures, or anything meaningful to you. If you’d like, we can also include props like flowers, blankets, or special items that make the shoot more personal.

How long will it take to receive the photos?

After your maternity session, you can expect to receive your edited images within 2-3 weeks. I carefully edit each photo to ensure you get the best quality, and I'll notify you as soon as your gallery is ready to arrange a face to face viewing.

This is such an incredibly special time and one that should be photographed for your memories. So many people come to me for me to photograph their newborn babies and say how much they wished they had had a maternity shoot, so please don’t miss out.

Your maternity photography shoot is best done between 29 – 34 weeks to make the most of that lovely bump.

For location sessions, we will discuss and agree the location during your booking process. If you prefer to come to the studio, I have a selection of maternity gowns and outfits and I will guide you on what to bring with you, what underwear to wear and anything you need to bring.

How it works

Secure your date with your session fee, and we'll arrange your planning consultation.

We'll talk through your vision, answer any questions, and tailor your session to you.

Relax and enjoy your session while I guide you every step of the way.

Within 10 days, you'll return for your viewing appointment to see your photos and choose your favourites.
